jThe Playmate Children’s Riding School is a friendly, professional riding school specialising in teaching children how to ride and enjoy ponies. Our aim is to provide a fun yet valuable learning experience, within a safe and secure setting.

Established in 1973, we are a BHS-approved, family-run business and a registered Pony Club Centre. We offer a range of events and activities for our members throughout the year.

There is a great atmosphere at our school and we are proud that many parents who rode with us as children are now returning with their own children. Our high staff-to-rider ratio ensures we can welcome children of all abilities, teaching them to ride efficiently and confidently while having lots of fun!
